What players say
Exceptional RPG. Exploration feels fantastic, writing is on point, progressions system allows you to rise from a struggling nobody to a true champion of the land and combat is engaing and fun till the very end. For people who loved Gothic series - this game is very similar structurally to it - trainers that teach you in exchange for points, two major exclusive factions, story divided into chapters etc. In my opinion...
Great game. Beat it, got the good ending, I think. Might play again to make other choices. Solid mechanics, enjoyable combat. A bit too much running back and forth; you learn to appreciate movement-increasing buffs. The economy is well-paced; by the end I had an excess of wealth, but not by a HUGE margin. I could have afforded to use the fast travel that unlocks (I think in Chapter 2?) more often, it's not...
Drova is a 10 to 20 hour ARPG that invites you into its world and does not fail in the execution. NPC characters have believable motivations which translate to interactions that run the full spectrum of ignoring, hindering or helping you. The game's difficulty is a bit on the harder end, but knowledge on a second playthrough boosts your enjoyment.
