I really love the game! If you haven't played any chinese RPG this one is just amazing. Aside from the "poor" translation (mostly words outside the text box) you can enjoy one amazing story, especially since it shows more of a world where small countries are being conquered by strong forces and how this can shape the culture and everything of the world.
If you are interested in games outside the usual Western/Japanese canon, this is a must-play - one of the best Taiwanese RPGs from the 90s, finally available in English. Personally...
TLDR: Base Game is not fun, DVD DLC does not work on Steam Deck. I originally purchased the "base game" back before they launched the DVD DLC. Base game launched on the Steam Deck, but as many others have said, did not have the charm of the original DVD game. I took a refund. I purchased the game again during the holiday sale. DLC does NOT launch on Steam Deck in gaming mode, but will launch on Desktop Mode...
