About the game
Forge your own story and explore the world of Athens in Athenian Rhapsody, a souls-like platonic dating simulator with cooking-mama and WarioWare style battle mechanics... and by that I mean it's a choose-your-own-adventure action RPG with the ability to trade ENTIRE PLAYTHROUGHS between friends!!

The value story
Across all 18 discounts in the 2 years tracked, the median cut is 35 percent, about 7 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 11 days ago.
Value puts it in the top 10 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 75 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 91 percent. Among the games closest to it, Way of the Samurai 4 ($24.99, scores 55) and Pine ($24.99, scores 34) both come in lower.

I think the game is fine overall - it's just not for me. There's clear effort and labor put into it, it's clearly well loved and a passion project, and it is, for the better or worse, unapologetically itself. If you've loved undertale and wanted it dialed up to 1000%, then this will definitely speak to you. The game is so absurd and surreal, it's like if you put all the most wacky and stupid moments of undertale...
it's like undertale, but worse in almost every way story is worse, combat is worse, gameplay is worse, jokes are worse, music is worse the only thing better is the art play undertale instead Some specific gripes: Combat has no i-frames after getting hit, meaning if you go through an enemy, it can easily oneshot you from full health, or if a projectile splits into multiple, you end up taking damage from all of them...
