Overall below average. I found it boring and not enough there to keep me interested. There's no map. I found myself wandering around and not knowing where to go next.
I really hate giving this game a negative review. The graphics, art, and gameplay are all really good. Honestly I have no complaints about any of those things. It's solid, and I enjoyed playing it. But the story is just so atrocious that I had to give it a negative review. Yeah, it's really that bad. It's nonsensical, childish, and feels like the writing team watched WAY too much anime. It's a decent game (not on the level of Lies of P, etc., but a notch below) with solidly executed Souls-like elements. If I had to choose one, I enjoyed the combat the most.
