The value story
November 2024 is where it bottomed out, at $9.99. It has been discounted 12 times in the 4 years tracked here, typically at 60 percent off, with about 7 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 5 weeks ago.
It is pricier than 98 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 96 percent. The games it most resembles do better on the same math. Total War: WARHAMMER III ($59.99, scores 36) and Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure ($19.99, scores 42) both outscore it.
20 of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written April 2023 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,814 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 453 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 42 percent of the 659 reviews written there were positive, against 58 percent overall, and those are 25 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 9.6 hours; clearing it takes 22, which is 2.3 times the campaign.

What players say
The game could of had so much potential if they didn't stop updating it. But if you want a game to play for a few hours and you like Minecraft then this is the game for you.
Action-strategy spin that's charming but doesn't quite land for Minecraft purists. Loved the open-world feel but died off pretty fast for me..
If only the gameplay design teams cared half as much as the art team for this game. Absolutely not worth it for more than $10 and even then its maybe 5-7 hours of gameplay total.
