I rarely put review, but I'll say this over and over again. Suikoden is the best JRPG franchise ever. Nobody could beat that. This game molded my values as a person - on how loyalty, friendship, trust, love, ambitions, and life should be. I just hope Konami would answer a lot of unanswered lore in the game in the future.
I never played these as a kid so I dont have nostalgia for them. But playing them as an adult they are abolsolutely wonderful.
Ok so, Suikoden 1 was fine, a bit basic, but still somewhat enjoyable. I had played it before on the PS1 up until you get the castle, but never finished it. I have finished Suikoden 1 now, and again, it was fine, but nothing to write home about in story, setting, and gameplay. Suikoden 2 however? My God. What a COLOSSAL DISAPPOINTMENT.
