Complete your collection and buy this game, which is very playable in 2026. I suggest that you add the following mods: (install in this order) Essentials and Synergies Patch; Essentials mod; and Synergies mod. Assuming you are playing with these mods, Playing Veteran is more than tough enough. Once you finish the campaign (after about level 51+) then play the Patrols, then later Embersteps, then endgame dumgeons...

For a 2012 game Torchlight 2 really holds up well, is easy to learn and fun to play. It's not overly complicated, but its all not as outdated as you'd think. It was the most pleasant find I have made in a long time.
Don't buy this game they have ruined it by requiring you to get spied on and your data collected by a 3rd party Chinese data broker.
