Solid voice acting and audio as usual. The vibe is different for this DLC (less survival horror) but I dig it. They tweaked the stamina mechanic, but you die in 3 hits and only heal at lampposts. Luckily, the nail gun is completely OP and makes the Taken sequences a breeze. Not sure how to feel about using manuscript pages as currency for weapons. Also, the time loop gets boring fast; it feels artificially padded to...
Alan Wake somehow finds himself in the Arizona desert and is forced to fight off a horde of monsters. quite a disappointing game consisting basically of just one episode, i.e. very short (around 4 hours). the combat has been greatly improved (much more stamina and ammunition everywhere), but the story is absolutely terrible. it's more of an arcade-style version, especially as there's even a dedicated arcade mode. if...
