The next entry in the incredible Tomb Raider first years. TR3 was the first time where the old engine started to feel old. It's still a beautiful game with deeply evoking locations. This time, Lara races around the world to gather four artifacts tucked in remote locations. Big fan of the old school Tomb Raider games. Love the methodical platforming, the atmospheric sounds, the lonely, abandoned levels. However, this game really cranks the difficulty of the levels, with many levels taking twice as long to complete. The most ambitious of the original trilogy, offering multiple paths and tougher challenges. The environments are varied and gorgeous for their time, but the difficulty and tricky platforming can be frustrating. Still, it's a satisfying adventure for players who love a real challenge.
