What players say
I know its easy to be cynical about re-releases but id Software has been treating its old properties like royalty with these re-releases. Affordable, works out of the box, tons of togglable enhancements and come packed with tons of legacy content as well as the new anniversary campaigns. Absolutely worth your money

There will never be another game compilation with this amount of value. All versions, all maps, with new recorded and legacy soundtracks. DOOM is always at the top of the hill for grab and shoot fun. And you get the WADS if you want to play using your own independent source ports.
Doom hasn't stood as strong as my memory thought it would have. The campaigns are short and a little tedious. I remember levels being so much more interesting than they actually are.
