What drives the score
How to read this
Every input gets a grade, S to D, read from the buyer's side. The score is multiplicative, so an input only counts as raising when it sits near the top of its own scale. Anything with real room left is holding the score back, because that room is the gap to 100. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. The exact weights stay secret.
- Steam lists in-app purchases but we have no detail on them. Small caution applied.
The value story
The lowest price on record is $3.99, set in June 2025. Its cuts run 75 percent off as a rule. There have been 28 in the 3 years tracked, about 6 weeks apart. Today's $3.99 at 90 percent off matches the lowest price in the record.
On value it sits in the top 8 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 92 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 84 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Steep™ ($1.49, scores 64) beats it on value, while it beats CarX Street ($19.99, scores 27).
16 of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written June 2026 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 42 percent of the 4,994 reviews written there were positive, against 82 percent overall, and those are 17 percent of everything written about it.
The main story runs 15.4 hours. Doing everything runs 98, 6.3 times as long.

What players say
They will change the content included after you purchase the game, bought the "Complete Edition" when it was named that, now they changed the name to "Premium Edition" and I miss out on the new added content. What a joke.
This is another, 5% free, 1st born for the other 95%. Limited career paths unless you start pissing away real money. In game store is a rip-off. Regret this purchase. Thought if I let it cook, they would add more. They did, but only if you pay out the ass for it. REAL DISAPPOINTMENT!
MICROTRANSCATIONS MICROTRANSCATIONS MORE MICROTRANSCATIONS!!!! Just KEEP this game to yourself Ubisoft, or better yet just call yourselves Micro Ubi-SOFT's, cuz I assure you that's what you guys carry on in your damn pants

Riders Republic scores 59/100 on the BANG Score (fair value). The BANG Score rates what a game is worth for the money. Via Steam BANGERS. https://steambangers.com/game/2290180/riders-republicThe BANG Score is one number for value, 0 to 100: price against how it reviews and how long it was built to be. It answers the money question and stops there; whether the game is for you is still your call.
Reviews set the ceiling and price moves you inside it, so a cheap game that reviews badly cannot climb. Ratings from few reviewers are shrunk toward the middle, so 100 percent from nine people does not outrank 96 percent from ninety thousand. Length comes from HowLongToBeat where it can be matched, measured against a per-genre floor so a five-hour narrative game is judged against other narrative games rather than against a sixty-hour RPG. Where no verified length exists the score says so and carries a dock, because the biggest input is then a guess. The full method, including where it is weak → Steam reviews as of Aug 2, price as of Sep 23.
