The value story

The lowest price on record is $1.99, set in April 2017. Its cuts run 75 percent off as a rule. There have been 72 in the 13 years tracked, about 8 weeks apart.

On value it sits in the top 9 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 74 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 87 percent. Among the games that feel like it, La-Mulana ($14.99, scores 58) beats it on value, while it beats The Way ($14.99, scores 48).

What players say

Uumm… I know it's a classic, and I'm totally into retro stuff, BUT I guess I just don't have the patience anymore to struggle through those hardcore, frustrating trial-and-error puzzles. The art is crisp and clear, but that is about the only good thing about the game. I was first attracted to the game because of the hostile alien world setting, but the world turned out to be bizarre and boring. Really, the...
