The value story
Across all 107 discounts in the 14 years tracked, the median cut is 75 percent, about 6 weeks apart. Today's $2.49 at 75 percent off still sits 25 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
It is pricier than 71 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 84 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Hearts of Iron III ($9.99, scores 30) beats it on value, while it beats Imperator: Rome ($7.99, scores 15).
