What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
About the game
"I have many things to tell you and very little time… I come from a universe parallel to yours. My world is desperately in need of your help. Only YOU can save us."Responding to the desperate pleas of a mysterious character from another dimension, your soul must enter the dark and futuristic city of Omikron.
Minimum specs

The value story
Across all 88 discounts in the 13 years tracked, the median cut is 85 percent, about 6 weeks apart. Today's $1.49 at 85 percent off still sits 7 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
It is less well reviewed than 79 percent of its genre. On the same math System Shock: Enhanced Edition ($9.99, scores 79) and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided ($29.99, scores 34) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.

What players say
One of the best game I've ever played. Sure, it's dated, but David Cage is honestly the greatest visionary of our generation. I laughed, I cried, I had a great time. Janky, funky combat that's basically Tekken, Golden Eye shooting scenes and a very strange pace that rewards those who pay attention. Peak. That is all.

I could lie with a woman sooner than figure out how to save! 10/10 Also, with the press of any key without the means to cancel, I could agree to transfer my soul to a stranger, like in Apple's user agreement! This game was ahead of its time! Also, music by David Bowie! But the controls are terrible, the fonts are almost unreadable, the save system just the worst, the repetition of "use" sound is killing me, but hey...
