Once you get used to the flow of the game, it really opens up and becomes really fun. Especially on a second run, you just have to be willing to learn how to play properly. Great game.
This is just an amazing game. The soundtrack, the graphics, the story, the gameplay are all phenomenal. The detail in the level design is extraordinary, and the immersion factor is really powerful. I have replayed it several times to make sure I find all of the secrets and experience all of the goodness. I just learned about the DLC and I'm going to play those next!
TL;DR : Everyone involved in the development of the game did a great job, but the publisher didn't let them finish it. What could have been the peak of the Deus Ex franchise - or perhaps even one of the best Cyberpunk games ever - ended up being an unfinished game that was released too early because of bad management. And you might be wondering : how did this guy spend 160 hours on an " unfinished " single player...
