What players say
Art and ragebait level design holds up so well imo. A point and click from hell if you're on the classic dosbox that's neatly packed in when you buy this. And kinda a 90s tech marvel that it had mouse look work the way it did. I ended up beating this on Nightdive's enhanced just for proper mouse look, and let me tell you I was THRIVING. Fantastic take on dungeon crawlers. This and the 2023 remake? My kinda jam

Pretty good rerelease of an old game. It does show its age in many ways like the HUD but still surprisingly modern in terms of design. Its not perfect but the hacking minigame is nowhere near as bad as everyone says in this rerelease.
Don't get me wrong, I love System Shock, and Nightdive made a great port of it. However, 5 years ago, an update was pushed that makes the movement so choppy and weird it makes me feel kind of sick. In this amount of time, who knows how many others tried this for the first time and bounced off of it because of how awful it is to look at. It's a huge shame.
