I remember playing through this game on the Switch years ago. On Steam, some things have changed for the better; such as moving while attacking and removing the durability system from armor and weapons. Besides that, it's ultimately the same game from 2016, but now on PC. This game walked so Builders 2 can run, but this can still be an enjoyable experience for those who want to experience the first game, or those...

this game is pure nostalgia for me and i love it. its a charming game, the combat isn't the best or anything but that isn't what this game is meant to be. i love the base building aspect of it, the story is fun, and overall its just a cozy nice experience i do highly recommend.
Fun at first, until you realize you have to do the following chapters starting from nothing again. Horrible game design, forcing players to basically have a hard reset as the story progresses. Building is restricted during story mode, There is a special mode purely for building, but that has to be unlocked also. Stick with DQB2 for a better experience.
