The value story
The lowest price on record is $7.19, set in March 2025. Its cuts run 20 percent off as a rule. There have been 9 in the 2 years tracked, about 8 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 2 weeks ago.
Value puts it in the top 16 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 84 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 89 percent. Among the games that feel like it, POOLS ($9.79, scores 75) beats it on value, while it beats Anemoiapolis: Chapter 1 ($8.99, scores 48).
Of the 499 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 18 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written January 2025 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 7 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,656 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 166 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 77 percent of the 443 reviews written there were positive, against 89 percent overall, and those are 24 percent of everything written about it.
The main story runs 3.6 hours. Doing everything runs 15, 4.2 times as long.
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, and at 3.6 hours it is short enough to finish on one.

I rate this game 6/10. Here's why tldr: speed is too slow, the maze stage in the playroom is disgustingly large and annoying. Reasons of this mid rating: Reason 1: Speed is slow and not allowed to run in water, even with running, especially when navigating huge maps, you feel the fatigue, mentally and physically. Atp you just wanna get the stage done and continue with your beautiful life. The feeling of your finger...
very good and gives you a creep vibe when playing one of my fav games with backrooms so far
