The value story
The lowest price on record is $5.24, set in January 2026. 17 discounts in the 2 years on record. They run about 60 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 2 weeks ago.
It is less well reviewed than 76 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Deathless. The Hero Quest ($9.99, scores 61) beats it on value, while it beats Deck of Ashes ($19.99, scores 28).
11 of the 249 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written January 2025 to September 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 698 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 1 has a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 1 of the 11 refunded reviewers was past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 40 percent of the 129 reviews written there were positive, against 73 percent overall, and those are 14 percent of everything written about it.
HowLongToBeat players log 4 hours as a typical playtime, and completionists log 15, 3.8 times as much.

What players say
Effectively a roguelike deckbuilder, I do have a particular bias in favor of the setup of this one, where you are a raid boss dragon who battles heroes and destroys villages. The game is fun and quite solid, especially in its current state. I do kind of wish that some of the attack effects were more dramatic, especially for the bigger cards like Supernova, but overall, I will still recommend it. We need way more...
Whats more better than being the dragon for a change and beating back the awful heroes for disturbing your rest. Raze some villages and dominate! Has a surprising amount of complexity and depth of strategy with builds.
This has been a wonderful game! Being the evil dragon, all of the different types, cards, artifacts! INCREDIBLE... Until the new patch/version, in which the tooltips are all over the place, they don't keep up with the cards played or worse are not there at all. I'm pretty sure that the maximum cards in the hand is 8, but I can't be sure because is written nowhere! The mode in which you can control a big evil machine...
