This is the first rhythm game I've ever played. I enjoyed it. The screen changing from 5 lanes to 7 lanes is hard to get used to and a little disorientating. I don't know if this is a normal design but it makes my fingers forget where they are when it changes drastically. There are also a few songs that will only show 6 lanes. Kamitsubaki City Ensemble is a very chill rhythm game with a unique vibe and strong focus on its music and aesthetic. The songs are catchy, and the visual style feels very artsy in a good way. The 5-key to 7-key switching can be tricky to get used to, and it's a bit of a bummer there's no touch mode for Steam Deck.
