ATTENTION AND WARNING BEFORE PURCHACSING A SUBSCRIBTION FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! This is not a "videogame" by the traditional sense. The is an actual, true to life, 1 to 1, most realistic racing simulator I've ever experienced and ALL "racing sims" need to use iRacing as a template. If you know NOTHING about racing, its rules, basic car physics, pit crew operating, never sat through an entire NASCAR or F1 race on tv...
It is basically really good. BUT: - It's crazy expensive - There are to many idiots that just kill you. You also get punished for that with a bad safety rating... reports are useless. I had someone who clearly crashed into me right before the finishline. Reaction from iRacing: " After reviewing the replay, we understand your frustration, but we do not feel that the accident was caused intentionally or with malice."...
Great race sim! great physics, great FFB, pricey though. My advice is wait for a steam sale and forget owning everything, just buy the cars and tracks you want to drive... This is NOT a game for casuals, if you're idea of fun is being lax with your surroundings or intent wrecking others, please don't buy this sim, stick to GT7 And Forza Horizon where you belong. lunging for a corner isnt good racing.
