l love everything about the gameplay and controls. I played Panzer General on Playstation for many years. This is the same game.

Excellent reboot of the old PC classic Panzer General, on all levels, with graphics, scenarios and layouts of the battlefields. They've made this much more challenging- maybe too much so in the more advanced campaigns, with it being all but impossible to get that final decisive victory against the Soviets (Prokhorovka '43). Same for the Afrika Korps campaign, with the Gazala assault, which again, seems all but...
Similar to old school SSI/Avalon Hill board game. Not a fan of the chess approach to combat as weight of fire should matter more but if you want that old War Game feel with a reasonable interface and pieces you can't lose it is an enjoyable time sink.
