What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
About the game
A silly little physics-based game about moving on... or is it? Be neat, be careful, or be a chaos goblin. The choice is yours. But be warned, not all is as it seems in this quiet little house.
Minimum specs
Minimum on the Steam store: 8 GB of memory, DX11 or better. Windows only.

More about Moving Houses
9 of the 232 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written October 2024 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,597 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 83 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 1 of the 9 refunded reviewers was past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 68 percent of the 139 reviews written there were positive, against 75 percent overall, and those are 60 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 1.9 hours; clearing it takes 4, which is 2.0 times the campaign.
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, and at 1.9 hours it is short enough to finish on one.
The drop-off

What players say
The price isn't right for how tiny this game is, wait for a very steep sale before buying. The concepts are interesting but explored in a cliché way, and very very surface level.

Under the cozy, silly atmosphere lies all the horror you encounter during moving. Trying to fit things into boxes, getting them out the door, picking up, putting down, oh no did I break that one? The gameplay is very satisfying, especially popping out a new box and catching it mid-air. Glad you can just chuck things and they don't break. I am glad I could pack up my totally normal things in this normal house and...
Not your average moving sim. This story made my heart simultaneously ache and palpitate. HIGHLY recommend.
