The game works, I enjoyed many of the puzzles, and I laughed SO HARD at the game thinking I was gonna take it's dramatic snake cultists and bad acting seriously. This is getting recommended for the stupidity alone. The art is bad, the voice-acting is bad, the animation is bad (but kinda charming), the character motives are bad, the big bad guy was obvious and very stupid, and the only reason it takes the protagonist...
This game was really good. I realize most BFG/HOPs type games are rinse n repeats, add to that I don't really like too much on the fantasy or supernatural side, but all of that considered this game was great. It wasn't just all puzzles, nor was it endless HOPs (maybe there was a couple too many) but they were easy. The story was pretty good and interesting, definitely different.
