It's a good game with fun combat, the side tasks feel mundane, you feel guilty skipping them, but bored trying to finish them.

its for sure a remake. lets not go there. they make it much more interesting in a lot of ways and add quite a bit more depth into this classic story of good vs. evil. i dont suppose i've played nearly enough of it to give a bad review yet, but if any of you have played the classic...you realize whats coming. Incredible game.
Might be a good story somewhere buried under hours of mini games, dull cut scenes, drawn out gameplay and micro stutters. Loved FF7 Remake, this is just so boring compared to it. The pacing is completely drawn out compared to Remake, and I found myself completely zoning out and getting annoyed each time another cut scene came up. Really, really wanted to love this game, but I just can't with the slow pacing...
