Technobabylon feels like a love letter to both retro point and click fans and Cyberpunk fans with its incredible story and challenging yet fun gameplay. Technobabylon ended up being one of those games that I didn't expect to last this long, yet at no point did it feel like the game or plot was dragging, even across 12+ hours. I don't want to spoil the story itself, but the writing is genuinely excellent. The voice acting is great across the board, but the soundtrack is what really tied everything together for me. So many scenes land perfectly because the music fits...
A great sci-fi vision implemented as an adventure game. I played in mid-2026, and the plot written before the modern AI era was very compelling. The very first puzzle in the game is the hardest (because you haven't really learned the rules of the world yet), so don't give up in the first room.
