Nice little deck building game. Fans of the Arkham board game will love being on the opposite side of things. The game is also polished. Zero bugs and everything works well and info is there when needed on what something does. Good number of builds one can achieve with sub types of the main builds. See myself slowly adding hours on as i try to unlock all the rooms. 30 plus special rooms add variety to the mansion...
Great little puzzle game, fantastic theme. The continued development over the past few months has added so much, refining the mechanics and balance, extending the gameplay, to the extent I've came back for hours of play after initially feeling I'd beaten it. If you have that villain vibe, want a chill turn-based game to pass some time on, and love everything spooky, you could do a lot worse.
I bought this on sale for £6, so can't complain. Appreciate what they are going for here, but the gameplay gets repetitive VERY quickly. Love the concept, however I think the game lacks any meaning or identity. You are evil just because some text box says you are. There is really nothing encouraging to do 'one more run'. Many other similar games, have an identity either through voice acting, satirical comedy, or...
