Hero of the Kingdom: The Lost Tales 3 is a bit more streamlined than the Hero of the Kingdom games, but for the most part, not in a good way. If you liked the other games, this is pretty much more of the same, and you'll probably like this one as well, but perhaps not as much. If you haven't played the other games, I wouldn't start here, I'd probably start with the first game, Hero of the Kingdom.
It's a fine game in the series. Don't play it if you haven't played the previous ones as it relies (at least emotionally) on you having some idea who the good guy and bad guy are. I hadn't played the previous game in at least 4 or 5 years, so I found it a somewhat tedious series of fetch quests, but it was easy enough and quick enough that I'm recommending it. It's a good palette cleanser between longer games.
