What players say
the most unique game ever with great combat, physics system, and worldbuilding very slow development time but extremely dedicated developers don't let the look of the store page fool you, the store page hasn't been updated in almost a decade. the latest big update to the game came out in may 2026 and it looks way better than what the images show

Absolute hard game to master but extremely rewarding once you start understanding the mechanics. I have been binge gamming this for 2 days straight and I just fell in love with it. Booted the main story, very fun but the UI could use some improvement, or even shortcuts. Not a deal breaker, just kinda annoying if you have to keep moving a lot of itens in and out of the inventory. Gets specially annoying when trying...
I like Exanima, its kinda cool. I've been following it on and off for like 6 years. I was just doing another playthrough to see the new level they added. I got about halfway through level 7 and fell into a chasm because my character tripped on a wall. The last checkpoint the game gives you is at the end of level 3, thats pretty squarely over half the play time I have in the whole run lost to the permadeath mechanic...
