The value story
Across all 44 discounts in the 10 years tracked, the median cut is 80 percent, about 8 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 76 weeks ago.
It is pricier than 83 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 74 percent. On the same math Xenonauts ($24.99, scores 74) and Halfway ($12.99, scores 33) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.

What players say
I've had this game for a long time, but have not played it much. Every once in a while, I re-install and play it again only to be reminded of how terrible it is, so I uninstall it. Wash, rinse, repeat. The graphics are nice, the sound and music are good, but the game mechanics are really, really bad. The game is really now about tactics, or strategic unit selection or placement. This game is about grinding unit...

This is utterly garbage. It's completely unbalanced, totally uninspiring and frustrating to play. I love turn based games, I'm old enough to have played the original UFO: Enemy Unknown (year 1994), so when I say that this game is garbage, it's because I know what a good game is. Do yourself a favor, avoid it. Initially I thought it might be a good game, but after a few hours I regretted buying it. Combat is not...
It took me quite a while to 'get' it. I started the game a few times but could never get far into the campaign. This time I'm actually getting further into the campaign. Feels like a good mix of Xcom and strategy. Some of the missions do feel very difficult though, and I find myself delaying doing the missions so that I can squeeze out a bit more research first.
