in the past 5 hours of gameplay i have had at least 15 crashes mid battle causing a need to restart, usually when you are just about to win the battle, i play from the nostalgia of playing when it first came out, if you didnt play it back then i wouldnt recommend it because the frequency of crashes absolutely ruins the game
The game just doesn't work on modern systems anymore. Even after spending over an hour researching and trying different fixes; compatibility modes, editing XML files, downloading patches, replacing files it remains unplayable. :(
