As of 9/28/2026 around 10pm EST, I have officially cleared King 1 in all its glory. 56 hours of pure randomness. 56 hours of pure mania. 56 hours of pure fun. I must say, this game is truly one of a kind, and the experience will follow me for decades. P.S. It took 7 months to complete because my teammate Shoebee needed a 6 month break due to having way too much fun.

Really nice Dnd / rougelite game with fun and interesting twists and concepts wrapped together with lovely art and atmosphere, would recommend friends for fun and help with the difficulty. very lovely!
For The King is a cooperative DND-lite-like turn-based RPG with minor roguelike elements. I say cooperative because I would not recommend playing this solo/without at least one other person. Each campaign will take a few hours, and mechanic-wise are very similar to one-another, at least when it comes to core gameplay mechanics. Local co-op is quite good, as is native controller support.
