The value story
It has been discounted 73 times in the 10 years tracked here. The median cut across all of them is 70 percent, about 7 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 11 days ago.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 20 percent on value. It is pricier than 81 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 80 percent. On the same math Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek ($14.99, scores 52) and Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden ($14.99, scores 57) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.

What players say
The game is generally OK, but no second chapter, awful scraping noise every time you go into a window, and boring alchemy puzzles. It only tool 3 hours on my first play-through and that is simply not long enough.
1 more review, not recommended
I'm a huge Artifex Mundi games fan, but I cannot recommend this one. The story and plot are completely nonsensical; everything feels shallow and rushed. The Alchemy mechanic is absolutely useless, and I felt zero connection to the story, or its characters. 1/5.
