What players say
The MMR system is terrible, and the overall matchmaking experience is frustrating. EU servers are flooded with russian players abusing high ping to gain an unfair advantage, obvious tool assisted Players seem to be standard in high elo while streaming ts. Competitive matches feel unfair and increasingly pointless when you have to deal with this questionable matchmaking. I cannot recommend this game to anyone...

if you want to play casual then you will have fun in this game, if you get pushed into 6 stars it will be a sweat swamp with many of your matches containing at least one cheater with walls, some type of aim cheat, amongst others. Crytek openly discourages "witch hunting" as a way to keep quiet the true scope of Cheating. In game reports do next to nothing and video evidence to their website rarely brings bans.
