It's best played with friends. For a game over a decade old, I'm having so much fun with my buddy. Feels like a slower paced, simpler Gears of War game and it makes you clear your corners. Play tactical. Best ten bucks I've spent on Steam all year.
First I'm going to talk about the only 2 good things about this game. 1. Story: It's a genuinely intriguing story, although the game itself does a rather poor job at conveying it with the few NPCs you can talk to, instead you learn most of what is going on from log entries and papers scattered around the world. 2. About the game
The world has been thrown into chaos by an ancient evil from another dimension. As one of the last remnants of humanity, you must set out alone or alongside up to two other survivors to face down hordes of deadly enemies to try to carve a foothold, rebuild, and retake what was lost.
