A brain scratcher for my itchy brain, id argue this is a definitive pillar in rouge-likes. i love the character variety, and the items are interesting. a good chunk of content here to have a good time. personally i haven't found the desire to buy any DLC past survivors of the void as i don't love how gearbox is handling the game, however, the base game is good enough.

Risk of Rain 2 is one of those games that starts simple and somehow turns into absolute chaos in the best possible way. The gameplay is fast, addictive, and every run feels different thanks to the huge variety of characters, items, enemies, and random events.
