What players say
Nightdive worked their magic again and brought back arguably one of my favorite video games of all time. I've had fond memories of playing it on the PlayStation over at my grandparents' house when I was younger. As a result, playing it now was a hell of a nostalgia trip for me. For a game made in 1998, Forsaken runs very smoothly, the music is FANTASTIC and you can just have a lot of fun playing it. Aged like really...

Those who were born in the 1990s probably came across this title or heard about it. It is a Descent clone, but surely a good one. This remaster respects it perfectly in almost every single way. Level design, audio effects are top notch. Its graphics were considered very good at the time the original game was released.
I remember playing this game on the N64 back in the 90s, and it was awful. I thought maybe I didn't like it because it was ahead of its time and the N64 controller wasn't well suited for it, so I got it for PC to give it a fair chance. I can say this is a better game on PC with a modern controller. It's playable now, but it's still not great. It's a little too floaty for me, and it's hard to tell power up items...
