Was enjoying the game, but then after an hour of playing, I was thinking to myself, "Hey, Miriam's voice sounds kinda familiar..." Looked it up and, surprise! It was Ami Koshimizu! Then, I really started to enjoy the game :)

Coming from Castlevania SOTN, ROTN is a beautiful and enjoyable "repackage" of the legendary game. 100% completed on a Steamdeck OLED and it played beautifully out of the box.
Completed my 100% Playthrough, including no damage against every boss in the game in NG+. If you liked Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, you will LOVE this game! Combat is great, movement is crisp and well-balanced, the enemies are both punishing yet fair, and the atmosphere is amazing. You're also given every tool across the game to progress, to the point where even if you play sub-optimally, you can still handle...

About the game
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is an exploration-focused, side-scroller action RPG by Koji Igarashi. Play as Miriam, an orphan scarred by an alchemist's curse that slowly crystallizes her body. Battle through a demon-infested castle and defeat its master to save yourself, and all of humanity!
