The value story
The lowest price on record is $1.69, set in May 2022. It has been discounted 70 times in the 8 years tracked here, typically at 90 percent off, with about 6 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 3 weeks ago.
It is pricier than 80 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 65 percent. On the same math AWAKEN - Astral Blade ($19.99, scores 50) and Death's Gambit: Afterlife ($19.99, scores 52) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
5 of the 508 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written April 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 49 percent of the 210 reviews written there were positive, against 71 percent overall, and those are 25 percent of everything written about it.

Very lovely and charming search action game, with beatiful handrawn art and some tough platforming. It's fairly non-linear, you are free to wander off and get lost, not sure where to go next, but that is very much the appeal of search action games for me so I had a great time exploring and finding my way. Honestly the focus on caverns and mines, and the tiny platforms you hop around and climb reminded me of the...
A fun little metroidvania that will keep you entertained for 5-10h max. The graphics are charming and the combat system serviceable. My main complain is how repetitive the game is. Every room looks the same, with three different "habitats" that feel like just a pallet swap, no change in the essence. The enemy variety is also lacklustre, with most of the boss battles being just a bunch of common enemy coming at you...
I should preface this that I've 100%'ed the game; and deeply regret doing so. By far the worst metroidvania I've come across thus far. Extremely repetitive, most of progression abilities only ever serve as "you can break the 26th type of breakable wall now! :)" and collecting key cartridges to unlock doors. There are only like 6 enemies being reskinned repeatedly, and only 2 bosses. Wall jumps only work in about 3...
