I'm going to have to say a hard "Not Recommended". Just dipped my toe into the game to see what it's like and it's an awful experience for new players, never mind newcomers to the franchise. The first thing that hits you is the main menu and it's like, "my first game" sort of menu, there is zero flair compared to any other of the Warriors games. It's so boring. Combat looked pretty cool, as in the animations, but...
To fix slowdown on Deck, set V-sync to 2, turn OFF Particles, and set the rest of the graphics settings to medium or low. I know this game is contentious, but frankly idc. I love this game.
not terrible if you get it heavily discounted, but koei needs to give this and 9 empires more discounts if they want them to sell
