Love this game since i was young and happy im able to get back into such an amazing hack and slash but am still sad that the continue option in the game is still broken and crashes the game
This is the apex of classic dynasty warriors. the amount of DLC stages, characters, weapons, animals, and extras is insane, giving you hundreds of hours of fun hack and slash stress relief replay value. Perfect for die hard fans, but also a good starting point for people new to the series.
I've got about 10 hours in. There's a good game buried in here, but a handful of core design decisions make it a slog to actually enjoy. Controls (the dealbreaker) This is the only "core" numbered Dynasty Warriors (excluding the terribly rated 9) on Steam, and the controller support doesn't reflect that. The left stick doesn't register properly on diagonals, so you end up holding forward on the stick while nudging...
