The value story
August 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $11.24. 30 discounts in the 4 years on record. They run about 67 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart.
Value puts it in the top 16 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 99 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 69 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Crusader Kings III ($49.99, scores 76) beats it on value, while it beats Grand Ages: Medieval ($19.99, scores 0).
Of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 25 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written July 2023 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 47 percent of the 430 reviews written there were positive, against 77 percent overall, and those are 9 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
I think this is a fantastic game! It's like a big brother to 'Lords of the Realm 2' from the 90's. Give it a chance, probably fail a few times then you'll get the hang of it and get sucked in. It's good stuff.
I have great fun learn the mechanics! it's like mini CK3 and mini Total War merge together.
A mix of bannerlord and Ck3. IF you have ck3 and would like to play it in a more direct and less stressful storyline this is for you. if you play bannerlord and want a different loop between battles this is a good choice. Its a unique mix of Turn base and realtime in one.
