For a JRPG, I'd give it around a 7.5/10. It would honestly be higher if the game didn't spend so much time blue-balling you with its romances. The characters clearly have feelings for each other, and the game spends the entire damn time teasing those relationships, but barely ever actually does anything with them. 's okay. Story was not well told and there's way too much pointless talking. Combat was fun enough, with enemy hp being slightly too high.
I'll begin with, if you're a Tales of games fan I would suggest this game to play. If you are not, I'd honestly say you could probably give this a miss. If you're looking to get into the Tales of games, this is not the one to do it with. In my opinion there are better options.
