The value story
It has never been cheaper than $3.99. That was December 2021. It has been discounted 58 times in the 7 years tracked here, typically at 80 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales.
It is pricier than 89 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 84 percent. On the same math Dead Age 2: The Zombie Survival RPG ($17.99, scores 40) and Morbid: The Seven Acolytes ($24.99, scores 27) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
81 on Metacritic, 66 percent from players. A gap this way round is usually launch damage or a slow decline.
Steam's global achievement data puts about 7 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 14.1-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. This site sampled 627 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 4 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 63 percent of the 168 reviews written there were positive, against 66 percent overall, and those are 9 percent of everything written about it.

The game has some control issues occasionally, but nothing horrible, and although I see others stating they encountered game breaking bugs, I didn't encounter...
Game comes with deep lore, and interesting. Crappy ending though. also boring in a way. Instead go pay the new Stygian.
ANOTHER MEDIOCRE GAME BUILT ON LOVECRAFT'S BONES Folks, if you're looking for a Lovecraftian Horror CRPG - keep looking. This game is a classic example of a great concept completely ruined by poor execution. THE MAIN ISSUE - IT'S BORING AS HELL I honestly gave this game 3 or 4 chances. I somehow sank 36 hours into it, and every single time, I ended up dropping it halfway through. The turn-based combat has almost no...
