Its not a bad game but it sure can be frustrating at times. even more so by the lack of knowledge about this game. Its not so much of an exploration Metroidvania its more like Spelunky or La Mulana. there are upgrades to collect but most of the exploration revolves around solving puzzles and good jumps. The best guide out there its a full map. I played this game a few years ago and to my knowledge There still isn't...

great game, had lots of fun with it and gamplay is smooth. plays like a metroidvania with a lot of puzzles. Listening too the lore is not necessary for this game, but gives it a lot more depth. (I mean.. you're barbarian after all.. no need to listen, just smash!) ;) only thing that annoyed me, was that you can't attack in any other direction but in front of you.. but i love that you have to combine your throwables...
expected a metroidvania. got a full on puzzler. that is on me but maybe this is the game for you. jumping doesn't feel too good, very responsive to get airborne but a sharp cutoff midair. cojote time on platforms feels way too low, can't rebind keys to d pad control without sacrificing item selection through the stick. stat one armed bandit on level up does not feel good. puzzles felt good up to where i played...
