DAYMARE: 1998 is a third-person survival horror game that recreates the mood of iconic titles from the '90s, with a fresh storyline. An incident that turns a small town into a deadly zone, three characters to play with and little time to find the truth, before its mutated citizens abruptly end your mission.

The positives? I do like the environments. The graphics, despite everyone looking like a potato, and most of all, there is some puzzles I thought was pretty good. I really liked LIev in this one and I really hated that he was gone already. Raven has that weird softness to it that makes me really root for him. Sam is such a tragic character, but I do find his dialogue funny because of the excessive swearing he did...
DO NOT BUY THIS AT FULL PRICE (Played on normal classic mode) This game is BAD, let me get that out of the way but it genuinely has some really cool ideas but sucks to play. The combat is ok, I would actually REALLY like the reload mechanic if it didnt take literally 10 seconds to get to the inventory EVERY TIME. The whole game is so clunky and feels bad to play. Some of the levels are designed really well but the...
Pros. It perfectly captures the atmosphere and nostalgia of late-'90s survival horror games. Cons. It also perfectly captures the clunky controls and frustrations that came with them.
