beautiful pixel art style with smart spell casting mechanics. the intent to use different wording to heroes of might and magic everywhere is sometimes a bit bothersome + I simply don't like the faction with guns (guns break my immersion in fantasy genre), but overall finally a worthy successor to homam3 imo.

I've had a difficult time getting into Songs of Conquest, but it's magic system is cool.
Absolutely love Songs of Conquest! Gorgeous pixel art, great music, and that classic "just one more turn" feel. The campaigns are engaging, the battles satisfying, and it perfectly captures the spirit of old-school Heroes of Might & Magic with a modern polish. Easy recommend for strategy fans.
