The value story
It has never been cheaper than $7.49. That was June 2022. 44 discounts in the 7 years on record. They run about 50 percent off, roughly 7 weeks apart.
Value puts it in the top 1 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 76 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 97 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Cattails: Wildwood Story ($4.59, scores 96) beats it on value, while it beats My Time at Portia ($29.99, scores 83).
$26.17 is where it would stop being a BANGER. It is priced at $14.99.
This site sampled 700 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 15 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 69 percent of the 275 reviews written there were positive, against 93 percent overall, and those are 5 percent of everything written about it.

A very cute and calm cozy game. There is basically nothing to stress over in this game; it is completely unfailable and taken at your own pace. Just customize your town, complete quests and befriend villagers to your heart's content.
Really nice lil collectathon and town decorator. It is very cozy, and everyone is nice to you. Which is nice. Some achievements are crazy grind heavy. I probably got most things done in about 35 hours, but remaining achievements are like catching 3500 fish which is super grindy heavy.
