I'm not very far into the game yet, but I wanted to give some of my initial impressions as someone who is new to the series. Plenty of other reviews go deeper into it, but I'll update the review if I have something more to add later that hasn't already been said. I picked this game up on sale, honestly initially i didn't realize this was the same devs that made code vein, not sure if that would have swayed me or not...
People love comparing God Eater 3 to Monster Hunter Rise, and while MHR definitely takes the crown for graphics and complex weapon combos, I personally enjoyed God Eater 3 way more. MH Rise combat feels a bit too slow, clunky, and overly complex for my taste. God Eater 3, on the other hand, offers a fantastic variety of weapons-ranging from fast-paced melee to different ranges-that feel much more responsive. What...
Very enjoyable. Movement a little bit janky, but when I got it down it pretty fun. Story is interesting. Run Smoothly on linux via proton 10.0-4.
