The value story
June 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $5.99. 56 discounts in the 7 years on record. They run about 50 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 24 percent on value. It is pricier than 88 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 77 percent. Among the games that feel like it, UNSIGHTED ($19.99, scores 69) beats it on value, while it beats Dark Devotion ($19.99, scores 35).
Critics scored it 73. Players sit 8 points higher at 81 percent, which usually means a game that plays better than it reviews.
Of the 530 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 7 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 58 percent of the 275 reviews written there were positive, against 81 percent overall, and those are 15 percent of everything written about it.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 5.2 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

Quite fun, albeit, pretty short and simple. I enjoyed the plot and the characters to it, even if there wasn't a ton, and the gameplay while on the simple side I found to be pretty fun? Not the hardest game, nor the most in depth, but I feel for a simple 4 to 5 hour metroidvania, it's perfectly fine. Maybe a bit pricey for the length and amount of stuff to do, but it's still a pretty good time I'd say. Just, maybe...
Good vibe and pixel graphics. Extremely basic and repetitious design and gameplay. Boss fights are just not worth it. You can't react fast enough or get a sense of what the boss will do and you die in just a few hits and then have to run all the way back to them (corpse running). No thanks my time isn't for sale.
